Who are we?
Greater Issaquah Toastmasters is part of Toastmasters Internationals network of nearly 11,000 clubs that meet in 91 countries around the world. We offer a proven and enjoyable way to practice your communication skills.
Toastmasters are volunteers who want to improve their own speaking and leadership skills.
Members come from all walks of life and represent a cross section of the community.
How does it work?
There are no teachers in a Toastmaster club; members take turns giving speeches and being evaluated by their peers. Experienced Toastmasters are assigned as mentors and coaches to new members to help develop the skills needed to present prepared and impromptu speeches, conduct meetings, and become leaders within the self paced program.
Who can join?
Anyone over the age of 18. Our meetings are non-political, non-religious, and open to all cultures, races and creeds.
What does it cost?
Membership in The Greater Issaquah Toastmasters club, including a subscription to THE TOASTMASTER magazine, is less than $2.00 per meeting.
